Yue Ling's belated birthday.

Xin Tian Tribute
Xin Tian TributeI would like to give a tribute to my class student councillor, Low Xin Tian, who recently turned 17 on the 28th of May. To me, Xin Tian is a person who has a great family, great friends, and most importantly a happy life. She has again and again inspired me to do better in life. Xin Tian is someone that is crucial and important to 2Bistrea '10's success today, no matter what topic or subject we are speaking about. Xin Tian grew up in Telok Kurau Primary School and joined Dunman High in 2006. She has been an SC ever since she was in Year Two, and she has told me that our class is the only class that is special, because we are quiet in nature but we can be active at times, and we have shown that we can, in the year of 2010. According to her blog post, she has mentioned that, Oh something worth mentioning: popped by 1Bistrea today after school (and helped out A VERY LITTLE BIT in their CNY classroom deco) and yay they're much more alive now! :) Haha, kind of really nice to see them closer to one another. It makes Xin Tian happy to see that her Year 1 Orientation class is much more alive, and closer to one another, and it also makes us happy to know that our SC cares about us as to help out in classroom decorations. In the month of March 2009, our class started to design our first class tee. Amid much commitments from everyone, especially Rachael, Marilyn and Leon, the class tee was designed and sent for printing. Little did everyone know that our original pink class tee, authentic as it is, was designed by the one and only Xin Tian, our student councillor. She had seen that we were having problems with the design and offered to help us with it. She sent an email attaching the design to Leon, who then forwarded it to me, and days later the design was sent for 40 copies of printing. This tee was then utilised for the 1st Class Outing in April, Good Friday. Click to view the class tee design: http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/904/45737264.jpg Not only was Xin Tian involved in the designing of the class tee, she also acted as an advisor to the 1st Class Outing, and without her valuable advice, we would not have continued to plan one more successful class outing, with another one coming up in late June. She has also offered her knowledgable experiences of barbeques with us. Xin Tian has been an avid participant of our class outings, and has given her fullest support and attendance for both class outings organised in Sem 1. Sometimes we joke with her saying she is more than an SC, she is the register number 37 of our class. Without Xin Tian's help, the class of 2Bistrea would not be here today. On behalf of the class, I would like to sincerely thank Xin Tian for her valuable contributions to us, whether to each classmate alone, or to an entire class. Thank you Xin Tian, and I hope you enjoyed reading the card we have made for you for your birthday. -Trevor |
