Dear Bistrea,
Just want to thank you for being such a wonderful class for me in my first 2 years in Dunman High School.
You have made me feel that Bistrea is my second home, and now that we are going to be parting, this has made me sad. Two years have passed in the blink of an eye, and we are now going to be split into many various classes next year.

Xin Tian Tribute
I would like to give a tribute to my class student councillor, Low Xin Tian, who recently turned 17 on the 28th of May.

To me, Xin Tian is a person who has a great family, great friends, and most importantly a happy life. She has again and again inspired me to do better in life. Xin Tian is someone that is crucial and important to 2Bistrea '10's success today, no matter what topic or subject we are speaking about.

Xin Tian grew up in Telok Kurau Primary School and joined Dunman High in 2006. She has been an SC ever since she was in Year Two, and she has told me that our class is the only class that is special, because we are quiet in nature but we can be active at times, and we have shown that we can, in the year of 2010.

According to her blog post, she has mentioned that,

Oh something worth mentioning: popped by 1Bistrea today after school (and helped out A VERY LITTLE BIT in their CNY classroom deco) and yay they're much more alive now! :) Haha, kind of really nice to see them closer to one another.

It makes Xin Tian happy to see that her Year 1 Orientation class is much more alive, and closer to one another, and it also makes us happy to know that our SC cares about us as to help out in classroom decorations.

In the month of March 2009, our class started to design our first class tee. Amid much commitments from everyone, especially Rachael, Marilyn and Leon, the class tee was designed and sent for printing. Little did everyone know that our original pink class tee, authentic as it is, was designed by the one and only Xin Tian, our student councillor. She had seen that we were having problems with the design and offered to help us with it. She sent an email attaching the design to Leon, who then forwarded it to me, and days later the design was sent for 40 copies of printing. This tee was then utilised for the 1st Class Outing in April, Good Friday.

Not only was Xin Tian involved in the designing of the class tee, she also acted as an advisor to the 1st Class Outing, and without her valuable advice, we would not have continued to plan one more successful class outing, with another one coming up in late June. She has also offered her knowledgable experiences of barbeques with us.

Xin Tian has been an avid participant of our class outings, and has given her fullest support and attendance for both class outings organised in Sem 1. Sometimes we joke with her saying she is more than an SC, she is the register number 37 of our class.

Without Xin Tian's help, the class of 2Bistrea would not be here today. On behalf of the class, I would like to sincerely thank Xin Tian for her valuable contributions to us, whether to each classmate alone, or to an entire class. Thank you Xin Tian, and I hope you enjoyed reading the card we have made for you for your birthday.

Let me tell you a story titled "The loner badge" ( actually its not really a story)

Once upon a time, there was a packet of 36 badges in a pack, living happily together. They were chosen to be given to class 1Bistrea. And so, they were given out by 1B's class chairperson, Trevor on 29th June 2009.

However, there is a badge with no ownership. No one wants it. so sad... So, this poor badge is along in a big plastic bag, suffocating now and its on Joanne's super untidy study table.

Then Miss Lee came and check on class cleanliness!
She gave us like 5 - 10 minutes to clean up first while she went to the other class.

THE CLASS IS DAMN DIRTY CAN.
Dustbin - not emptied.
Floor - not swept.
Tables - out of alignment.
Board - not clean.
Windows and shelves - not wiped.
Drains on tables - full of eraser dust.

Practically nobody did duty?
Maybe some kind souls did, but ...

Then everybody rushed to clean the whole class.

Time : depending on where we are going.

Oh My! There has been many people falling sick and getting ill (this needs summarising) for the past month. Since the start of the Second Term, these few people have been falling ill and getting sick:

Most of these members of the Commonwealth have been getting the DREADED STOMACH FLU. Here are a few symptoms of Stomach Flu:

Nausea and Vomitting
Diarrhoea
Loss of Appetite
Abdominal pain
Abdominal cramps
Fainting and Weakness

OH MY! Aren't they dreadful? Antibiotics may sometimes be used if symptoms are severe and a bacterial cause is either isolated or suspected. Of course. Duh?!

Everybody should be careful with what they eat. Because, stomach flu is what results in the habit of random eating and gorging yourself with food. And, take care of yourself because recent weather has been classified as "particularly random and impossible to predict or forecast" by the NEA (National Environmental Agency) and therefore, don't believe in the weather foreacst for the time being. For boys: If Zheng Yi can get stomach flu too, then we all ought to be careful. Alright, people? Are you comfortable/okay with taking care of yourself? Well then, everybody should be in school at 8 for the class meeting on Monday! Complete your homework on time, go for a jog and then eat out. Sleep at 10.30. Wake up at 6 (depending on where you stay) and appear in school by 8. Have a good day, people.
